A consortium with several partners from the BIO community has been awarded funding from the Swedish Research Council for a research school.
A consortium led by Professor Arne Elofsson, with several partners from the BIO community, was awarded 15 MSEK to start a three-year research school (with possible extension) on the topic of Medical Bioinformatics. The goal is to improve e-science and bioinformatics skills among PhD students in the Life Sciences and meet a need to spread these skills over the country, in particular to environments missing such competency within faculty.
