Every year Swedish eScience Research Center hosts its annual conference which features eminent external guests as well as local experts who show case their research.
In the next annual conf (6-7 May 2026) we have decided to we will have a section called Visualize Your Research. This is especially for young researchers (PhD students and postdoc).
What do you need to do: We invite you to submit short videos (5-10 min) where you describe your research in innovative ways.
Which research areas fit in this section: eScience is a broad area which covers many research themes from molecular dynamics to climate modelling and machine learning. If your work relies on extensive data or simulations then your work qualifies.
How new your research has to be: We are of course looking for your recent work done in last 1-2 years.
Is there help in creating the video: Yes we can help you with planning, filming and edit advices.
What will you get: There will be a good cash prize (amount to be decided) for the three best videos. But more important you will be invited to the annual conference and your videos will be played at the poster session. Furthermore we will feature your research on serc webpage.
