Online course offered by HPC2N, LUNARC & PDC
21, 22, 28 & 29 November (mornings only)

Message Passing is a widely deployed programming model that is suitable for programming a wide range of current computer architectures, ranging from multi-core desk top equipment to the fastest HPC systems in the world. This online course is at beginners level and is suitable for researchers who do not have any prior experience in parallel computing. The concepts behind message passing and distributed memory computing will be introduced, and, at the end of the course, participants should be able to write their own MPI programs at an intermediate level.
