This is an invitation to a half-day workshop that focuses on “Technologies for ageing and well-being”. The event takes place between 12:00-18:00 on Thursday, December 3 at lecture hall F1 on Lindstedsvägen 22. The talks and the following evening buffet dinner present an excellent opportunity to catch up on developments within this area, both internationally and at KTH. Participation is free, but participants need to register before Tuesday, November 24 through the website http://goo.gl/forms/Mo4orNNC58
A couple of words about the scientific content: Besides shorter presentations by KTH researchers, this year we will have three invited speakers covering different aspects of technologies for ageing and well-being. Dr. Lidström from the Swedish eHealth Agency will talk about possibilities and challenges for the elderly in the digital world, Prof. Miller from Johns Hopkins University will talk about advanced quantitative image analysis and its applications to diagnosis/monitoring of neurodegenerative diseases, and Prof. Hautop Lund from the Technical University of Denmark will talk about gamified solutions in prevention and rehabilitation for active aging. The latest updated version of the program is available from the website http://goo.gl/forms/Mo4orNNC58
