Computers can do amazing things, but still lack human qualities to interpret impressions, react to situations and learn from the outside world. Anders Lansner has tried to change this during his research career by trying to simulate the human brain in a supercomputer. In a conversation with ’fjärde uppgiften’, he explains that the goal is not far away but there are still some important breakthroughs missing . ”We still do not understand the brain altogether,” he says.
