Erwin Laure
PDC director and SeRC researcher Erwin Laure is interviewed about e-Science, Big Data and SeRC in the latest number of ‘Curie’, the newspaper from Vetenskapsrådet.In the article it is described how new measurement techniques and instruments make it possible to study phenomena at a level of detail that, hundred years ago, was impossible to imagine. The result is a flood of information, and to make this huge data manageable, extremely powerful computers, advanced computational methods and statistical analysis is needed.
